Tracing people in the Republic of Ireland is much more difficult than tracing people in the UK, as public records are not online. To make a search of public records we would have to instruct someone to go to a record house and physically search them. There could be several record houses needing to be searched depending on the trace.
Due to this, the fee to trace someone in Ireland is £120. This is payable at the start of the investigation and will not be refunded if unsuccessful. As I said much of it will be spent searching the records at the record houses.
If the Missing person is in Northern Ireland, they come under the UK trace prices outline in the rest of this website. If they have moved to the Republic of Ireland then the £120 fee would nee dot be paid to start enquiries there.
